Delete your account in the app

You can delete your EVchargeME account directly from the Android or iOS app:

1. Open EVchargeME and sign in.
2. Select Account.
3. Open Profile.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Confirm Delete Account when prompted.

If you have an active charging session, end the session before deleting your account. Active reservations are cancelled as part of deletion.

Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your EVchargeME account. Use the subject line Account deletion request and include the name on your account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Data that is deleted

When your request is completed, EVchargeME permanently deletes the account and private data it controls, including:

• your sign-in account, name, email address, profile photo, and account settings;
• your saved vehicles and license-plate information;
• host charging-location listings, photos, schedules, and calendar connections;
• private calendar feed tokens and availability blocks; and
• identifiers linking you personally to retained shared records.

Data that may be retained

Some limited records are retained or anonymized where needed for transaction history, financial integrity, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal and tax obligations:

• completed charging-session, reservation, payment, and payout records may be retained without your user identifier;
• review ratings and comments may remain, but the author is changed to “Deleted user” and identifying profile information is removed;
• security and system logs may remain until their standard retention period expires; and
• payment processors may retain transaction data under their own policies and legal obligations.

Any retained information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary or legally required. Aggregated or deidentified information that no longer identifies you may also be retained.
